Today I wore my oldest pair of Converse while I went out shopping. I've had this pair since 1987/1988, when I was in the 10th grade. As you can see they are still in very good condition despite their age. One of the reasons they continue to look good is I never ever wear them while mowing the lawn (which is something I must do later today....bummer!) If I wore this while mowing they would get grass stains! I only wear a crappy pair of Crocs (that my Mom found cheap at a thrift store) while mowing because I don't care that they get stained with grass. My Converse are my precious and must be treated as such, right?!
