Hump day shoes

I'm wearing my black Converse today. Don't worry! My car, Ms. Taffy is fine. I'm just wearing them today because it is the best pair to go with what I'm wearing. Sweater weather has arrived in Minnesota!

BACK TO WORK

My friend went home on Sunday but I took Monday off to be lazy (and mow the lawn) now it is Tuesday and I'm back at work. Yuck! My Mom bought me a new purple shirt yesterday while shopping at Kohl's yesterday. I am wearing the shirt today so I must wear my purple Converse to match them!

Weekend with a friend

I had a super fun long weekend with my friend Lorraine, who came to visit me from out of state. The pictures below are all the shoes I wore during her stay.

I picked Lorraine up at the airport on Thursday afternoon and wore my orange Converse.

On Friday we went to the Como Zoo and I wore my favorite pair, my pink Converse.

On Saturday I wore my red Converse when we went to the Cury Divas Expo and the Mall of America. That evening when we went to the movies I wore my grey pair.

On Sunday, Lorraine's last day of her visit, I wore my purple Converse when we took the dogs for a walk near Harriett Island in St. Paul so she could see the Mississippi River.

it was a fun weekend and can't wait for Lorraine to visit me and my girls again!!!

Happy days are here again

My car Ms. Taffy is back home from the repair shop after 12 days. I am very happy so today I will wear my yellow Converse to celebrate!!!!! Audrey is happy for the shoe change too!

Black Tuesday - Again

Yup. I'm still wearing only black Converse. Ms. Taffy is still sick. The auto repair place said there is a "good chance" I will have her back before Thursday. Please send thoughts & prayers to my precious Ms. Taffy!

Black Monday - Again

Hoping to hear good news about my car today so I can have her back home with me and start to wear something other then my black Converse. No sunshine or bright colors til Ms. Taffy is back with me

Black Sunday

No news on my precious car Ms. Taffy. I will call them tomorrow but the way things are going I'm sure the news will not be good. I hope I am wrong.

No sunshine or fun colored Converse til my car is home with me. There is a black hole in my heart so only my black Converse will do. 

Black Saturday

Took this gloomy, rainy picture on Friday evening because it is how I feel. Gloomy. There will be no sunshine or happy color Converse until my precious car Ms. Taffy is back home with me.

Black Friday

I'm sorry to say this "mourning" for my precious car Ms. Taffy will continue on til next week. Wrong parts to fix her where sent. I'm not getting her back anytime soon and I'm am devastated. Shout out to the world's greatest mom, my Mom for driving me to and from work this past week. She is the best person in the whole wide world.

Black Thursday

Ms. Taffy is still in the shop and I was told I could have her back by "the end of the week". I have no idea if that means Friday or Saturday......

Anyway, I will continue to wear my black Converse until Ms. Taffy is back with me.

Black Wednesday

My mourning for my car Ms. Taffy continues so I will continue to wear my black Converse until she is fixed. Will learn today (hopefully) if my insurance will cover the cost of her repairs. 

on the bright side, in this picture is a bag my sister found at Marshalls for only 99¢ !!! It is awesome! I LOVE IT!

Black Tuesday

I have made the decision to wear my black Converse high tops every day until I get my precious car, Ms. Taffy back from the repair shop. I miss her so much. 

Black Monday

I always decide the night before what to wear to work the next day because I can't be expected to think about it first thing in the morning. Today's Converse will be black because my outfit is mostly black. Basically I'm in mourning that the weekend is over AND my precious Ms. Taffy (my car) is in the shop. Good vibes to Ms. Taffy and a speedy recovery would be much appreciated. Thank you!

You've got red on you

Wearing my "Shaun of the Dead" t-shirt today on this gorgeous Sunday so of course I must wear my awesome red Converse to match. My Mom saw me outside getting ready to walk the dogs and she said "you have shoes to match every shirt!" :-)

Carless & craving Cap'n Crunch

My car, the beautiful Ms. Taffy is in the repair shop until further notice, so I am carless. Fortunately for me Neighbor Lady (Mom) can get me to and from work and even said I'm able to take her car if I really need to go somewhere. I don't right now though. Mom's kindness is wonderful. In the meantime I'm walking distance from many places if I really need something so in a little bit I'm going to put on these gray Converse extra high tops and walk up to the grocery store. My craving for Cap'n Crunch cereal is sudden and intense and I need to cure it.

Casual Friday means I can wear my new Hey Girl Hey t-shirt I bought at the State Fair two weeks ago. It is from one of my favorite radio programs The Jason & Alexis Show, which airs on myTalk 107.1 from 5:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Monday - Friday.

Locke vs. Sylar ~ Part 3

Sylar fell off the "cliff"! Locke, Data, St. Francis of Assisi & St. Clare of Assisi all check to see if Sylar is ok

Of course Sylar is okay despite the fall off the "cliff" cuz he stole the Cheerleader's powers which allows him to heal from any wound. He gets up & tries to car jack Barbie's car!

Locke wants to make sure Sylar doesn't get his hands on them so he tries pushing him off a "cliff".

I'm going to a live taping of the new local talk show The Jason Show on FOX 9. I'm nervous but I'm also very excited! They request the audience wear bright colors so I'm going to wear my favorite pink sweater that Audrey is using as a dog bed in this picture

The girls and I took a quick trip to Petco to check out their toys. We wanted to get a present for someone. I wear my navy blue low tops I bought recently at Kohl's. 

working for the weekend

I decided to go with my purple Converse today cuz it kinda goes with the logo on my shirt. I'm going into work for a couple hours. I love when my job is busy and I'm able to work a little extra. It makes me happy.  

Team Cobra for Casual Friday!

Casual Friday at work if I'm willing to donate a dollar (which my work will give to a charity later this year) so I'm going to wear my new myTalk 107.1 TeamCobra t-shirt I bought at the Minnesota State Fair last week. Team Cobra is for the Colleen & Bradley Show, which airs Monday - Friday from noon - 3:00. They are great people and a really fun show to listen to.

Audrey wanted to help model the shoes and sweater I'm going to wear to work today. Why am I wearing a sweater during this hot & humid weather we are having?!?! Well, it does get chilly at the office so it is always best to wear layers! This is my favorite sweater.
