Walking the dogs

Oldie but goodie

Today I wore my oldest pair of Converse while I went out shopping. I've had this pair since 1987/1988, when I was in the 10th grade. As you can see they are still in very good condition despite their age. One of the reasons they continue to look good is I never ever wear them while mowing the lawn (which is something I must do later today....bummer!) If I wore this while mowing they would get grass stains! I only wear a crappy pair of Crocs (that my Mom found cheap at a thrift store) while mowing because I don't care that they get stained with grass. My Converse are my precious and must be treated as such, right?! 

Vacation Day

Not working today but the dogs and I have plans to go out and about later so my plan is to wear my black pair of Converse when we go. Have a great day!

Minnesota State Fair

Today is the first day of the Minnesota State Fair! Just like last year I am going mainly to see my favorite radio station myTalk 107.1 broadcast at their booth. I'm going to wear my myTalk t-shirt I bought at the Fair in 2012 and my matching pink Converse I purchased at a store at Rosedale Mall called Journeys using a gift card I won from the radio station. Monday already?

This is the only pair not yet featured on this blog. They are extra high, high tops that can be worn two different ways. All the way up or you fold them down to reveal some purple. I mainly wear them laced all the way up because with my bum ankle the added support is fabulous.

I purchased this pair at Target in 2013. They were on clearance. I don't remember what they cost but it was definitely under $15.00

No plans

I don't plan to go anywhere today but if something comes up and I do I will most likely wear my orange pair I bought myself for my birthday back in April 2014 

Errands to run

I need to do some shopping this morning and chose my new navy blue pair of Converse to wear while I'm out & about! This is one of the two pair I bought on sale at Kohl's last weekend.

Today I have some errands to run so I'm going to wear my favorite pair of Converse while I'm out and about. I purchased this pair at a store called Journey's at the Rosedale Mall. It was between the light pink and the hot pink and I couldn't resist the hot pink. They are so much fun!
